Malcolm/End Game Thoughts *MAJOR SPOILERS*

Just finished the game, and even though there were times where I wanted to throw the controller, it was alot of fun over all.

Just a couple complaints though,
First off, why isn't Malcolm a playable character in multiplayer? This was my favorite character in UT99 and UT04, and for him to suddenly become unavailable is odd, even though basically everyone else is there (From the main game).

Second, I cant help but feel a little saddened that my all time favorite character (Malcolm) has now become the "bad guy". Hopefully he'll turn around in UT4 and be "good" again.


P.S. The ending scene with Reapers sister dead was, although cheesy looking, sorta sad.

Great Job Epic! LOVED the game! Will continue to play multiplayer, and will purchase UT4/Gears of War 2!

I agree with the Malcolm thing. The topic has been brought up before.

The only peace I can make with the matter is by looking at things in such a way that Malcolm isn't actually the bad guy. Remember, Reaper went against Malcolm's orders, against the Earth Government. What Reaper did could have started a war with the Necris - he decided to take it upon himself to risk the lives of everyone on Earth for his own vengeful purposes. So Reaper really betrayed Malcolm first; Malcolm was just doing what he had to do to stop the situation from escalating.

yeah, it just sorta ..ended. I didn't even notice the credits were playing, since there was no music...

I guess we see a possible XMP with more campaign stuff, since a good amount of people play UT3 offline (Hell you see almost everyday someone playng in co-op online) I believe Epic could finish the story with a more proper ending and the addition of a few goodies to the game, pretty much like the ECE was for UT2004.

That would really get all the versions of the game going for some more time.
Tho I'm not expecting anything anytime soon but it would be greatly apreciated to see UT3 story with a proper finish.
