The 9800 GTX. Or that new ATI card. Maybe the 8800 Ultra. It all depends on your resolution. In my case I use 1920x1200 for which I would need an absolute top of the line card or two 8800 GTs in SLI if I wanted that frame rate. If you use something like 1440x900 or 1280x1024 then something less would work for you. Like the 9600 GT(8800 GT) or the ATI 3870.

BTW: Also depends strongly on your CPU. A decent dual core is a must for 60 fps.

Then get a 8800gt, you will have no problems then, even a 8600 could pull it if you leave AA off. That's a low res so it should be able to play easy for every game.

I use the 9800 GX2... The 1 gig video card... I have 8 gigs of ram and a 2.5 ghz quad core... I get about 100fps on max settings

I'd go for the HD4850 which is faster than any 8800 or 9800 (except the GX2) and costs the same of a 8800gt.

AFAIR The ATI setup is only faster in crossfire (2 cards) and only in UT3

9800 GX2 runs great at 1920x1200, max detail, highest driver quality setting, no AA. Q9450@3.4ghz

It seems to get too hot though, a 9800gtx even if overclocked, could be a better option. OTOH the 8800gt also gets hot, so it may not matter much

Umm whats the size of ur monitor, or resolution - either 1. But the 9800GTX would qualify. Or the new 200 series from Nvida.

Some 8800gts do have 1Gb memory, which helps. I got one of those.
With the C2D cpu and 2Gb of main memory it will get 60fps nearly all the time,
at high settings, at least at 1280x1024.

But obviously there's been some new cards come out since.

My 8800GT, with Q6600@3,2GHz and 4 Gb can't hold 60 fps when you need it the most if you play at 12801024 and max settings.

I suspect this is a bug though, since the situation is the same no matter what graph settings you use.

I run two 8800 gts 512mb (g92) cards in SLI with 1680 x 1050 resolution in windows vista. Most DM maps will easily be over 100 fps. However, there are some maps especially the Warfare maps that will bring me down to just over 60 fps and sometimes below 60 fps at certain moments. Anyways, just one of these cards should be fine for UT3, I didn't see much of an improvement using 2 cards in SLI maybe just a little bit more stable.

weird considering my 9600gt easily pulls off 60+ on max.
