well, italy can easily get a full 10 ppl team but most of us has msn not irc so why should we get it??? isnt msn enough??

Yep that's why I added to the end of my first post that if you don't have IRC and want to apply through epic forums send me a PM. The only reason we suggest you get IRC is that it makes our lives a lot easier and so that we can update the bot officially with your names

well a lot of italians would really like to play, but very few are here (in the italians i know on ut, im the only 1 here )
cant i just give you a list with all the nicknames?

If nammo says IRC isn't needed then lets role with that.

But this is how easy it is.

1. Download http://files.filefront.com/UT3IRC+MS.../fileinfo.html UT3IRC

2.Unzip - Open folder, just double click mirc.exe

3. Set it up - Guided by UT3IRC

4. Click on Quakenet on the left, when it joins type '/j #warfare2008'

5. There is no 5, you're now in the required channel! Anythign else you need use '!help' or ask!

If your team have people and we can't contact you to play because you don't have IRC then we have a problem :P We will get the games organized in advaced say 1-2 weeks so you can see if you are avaliable, but on the day please please try to get on IRC! You won't regret it, theres much more on irc that just us.

Well with msn (i use it too) u only have your friends n thats all.With irc you meet people that all play the game.Just try it.Get in,see if u like how things are n if not u just uninstall it.99% u gonna like it.Nothing to lose.After u get in a channel ask for help n im sure some1 will tell u all u need to know.

you may be right, but every single 1 of my friends has msn not irc: why should i get it? i know nobody in there, so its useless for me having it.
if i need it to partecipate to the tournament, peace, no tournament at all.

You don't need to know anyone in IRC. I knew one guy when i joined. Now i know a hell of alot, its a easy going community. Its the easiest way to get to know more players and if clans are searching for players, they'll be on IRC too.

On MSN you have to accept contacts to talk to, in IRC, theyre all just there.

sadly i dont speak english as first language and i dont care having a english chat program ^^
and for our clan goes the same =)

A lot of guys in irc dont speak English as a 1st language.Im Greek for example.Come e parleremo un po in Italiano .

Just give it a try. MSN and IRC are two completely different chat mediums. With IRC, you can easily find or organize games. There's lots of pickup channels (included in UT3IRC) and some people (like us) organize fun nights as well. You won't know about those games if you don't use IRC.

Your English doesn't seem too bad. I have no problem understanding what you're saying, and I've also seen a lot worse

Give IRC a try. You won't regret it
