You may have problems due to vista. Lots of folks have stuttering with the current vista 64 drivers. Also, FYI, a E8400 at 3.0 GHz or E8500 at 3.16 GHz will run current games much faster than a Quad core at 2.5 GHz or 2.9 GHz for that matter.
