UT3 on steam?

ls there any downside to buying the steam version? The upside of course is that there is no need for a dvd.

Nope no downside. In fact I was ****** to hear that it became available on steam because I didn't buy it for the longest time waiting and hoping for it to be available on steam, I lose my patience, buy it, and what do you know it's available on steam.

All good, unless u have like a 2GB Internet connection and ur hdds fail so u have to dl again from steam and u go over the limit so the downloads become slow and you wont be able to play the game for a long while - but other than that its all good. lol.

I don't think any version of the game has "DVD check" does it?

Nope.
BUT if you get the steam version you miss out the Bonus DVD with the tutorials for the editor.

Too late, got it on steam. Probably won't be using the editor, fortunately.
