Does UT3(PC) have trouble with headphone audio?

Using Sennheiser PC350 headset with ASUS Xonar D2X soundcard.

It seems like everything is just blatantly loud, lacking articulation and making location detecting difficult.

Either
1. I need to get used to using headphones
2. My headphones need longer to break in
3. UT3 has headphone audio problems
4. ????

When I use my headset I hear perfectly clear...

If you have OpenAll in UT3 sound settings enabled, disable it.
It causes alot of problems for most people.
