That's by Carl Orff, not Mozart. Mozart had been dead for almost 150 years.

i play music at 60% volume and UT3 sfx at 100% volume, i've never been raped unknowing from any vehicle other than manta, viper and nightshade. You can clearly hear any other vehicle and mostly i do watch my back (i mean a real lot :P)

I've been gaming with music ever since i started gaming, cant imagine a world gaming without music! OFC in games like CS it has its downsides if you turn up the music volume to much but its a matter of tweaking it to the right level ^^

Anyhoo, rock and techno is usually what gets me around, not to mention the UT99 soundtrack!

        three words

        drum and bass

but i listen to my entire playlist actually. you cant send commands out of UT3 to lets say... winamp (ie the keyboard shortcuts for skipping songs that are so convenient and easy) so i just put on all my music and random. seems to work out the best.

but if i really want to get my frag on drum and bass will do it everytime

Anything Classical...Wagner or Greig work out the best (or any other German composer) or failing that Death Metal (Lamb of God ,Dimmu Borgir, or GWAR)

                Suicide Commando
                Devil Driver
                Lamb of God
                Static-X (album: Machine)

You should check out a Norwegian band called Red Harvest.

Infected Mushroom always gets you in a good killing mood. Although listening to music whilst playing isn't advisable unless its a casual game

                      In UT2004:

                      Metallica (the first 3 albums)
                      Megadeth
                      ZZ Top (album - Afterburner)

Sometimes - Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd.

One of the bands I have been listening to ALOT lately:

                            Scar Symmetry:

Retaliator: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVpK30IZyQc Can you imagine fragging to this? Amazing solo's in this one.

Ghost prototype II: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV9o3...eature=related A little bit more catchy. Still plenty heavy though.

The band messing around, getting ready for the next album: http://www.bravewords.com/news/115970 FUNNY stuff!!!

All of these guys songs are amazing. Definitly worth checking into if you like this sort of music. I can't play while listening to these guys though, the solos are too distracting. lol Their another gothenburg band similar to in flames, but way better IMO. Others may disagree, but listen to the three albums first before hand. Amazing stuff. Very talented band. Look for the albums Symetric in design, Pitch black progress, and Holographic universe, if you like it. These guys write songs about philosophy, history, mythology, and even scientology. They have one whole song that is about an electron. LOL. Some songs are even about 2012 predictions. Very different for a death metal/melodic death metal/melocore/metalcore band. People still have a hard time classing these guys.
