I am about to host a room and would like to get some people together that actually have mics, I have a fast T1 connection so no one should have a problem with lag, and I do support mods, so send me a friend invite, xx pantherrr xx.

I will be trying it out with the Aussie crowd tonight and most of us will have mics...so I'll report back to this thread on how it all goes. I assume that it will work out ok.
I think the deceiving thing is that when you play on a server you never hear anyone speak if you don't have a mic. That is different from Resistance where I wasn't using a mic and yet I could hear everyone talking etc.
Personally I think I prefer it the way it is because when you have older people around you don't want to hear some fool swearing. LOL, my grandmother could be in the room.

Indeed...plus it's ideal for hosting about 15 players too...
