    UT3 Xbox 360 demo PLEASE!!!!!

I just wanted to post a thought to Epic Games:

Release a Unreal Tournament 3 multiplayer demo on Xbox Live ASAP.
This will only create more revenue for UT3 on Xbox 360. Many players are unfamiliar with the product, and a free demo would go a long way to ensure UT3’s success on 360.
It might sound like it’s early for that, considering the potential release date of the 360 version. I beg to differ; the longer the demo is available, the more people will play it, both old and new, and awareness will be out there on Xbox Live. There is no better advertisement for a 360 game than that.

Just make it more solid than the “beta” UT3 PC demo. Most of the issues complained about, I bet, are non-existent at this point.

So please do this ASAP Epic, not only for your games success, but for the loyal Xbox fans that have stuck through UC1, UC2, and are eagerly awaiting another robust experience on Xbox (360). This will surely help create larger player counts, and I think I speak for most Xbox UT fans at this point when I say this: We’ll be happy if there is not “mod” content a la PS3, as long as you keep those bonus packs coming on a consistent basis. Basically have so many map packs compiled from the community, that it’s practically the same thing.

The UC2 demo was a great Xbox Demo:
    3 DM maps
    1 CTF Map

    (1)VCTF Map
    (2) Warfare maps

    Thanx for reading

When the UC2 demo came out it was one of the most played Xbox Live games at the time. I remember because websites were making a big deal about it being the first demo ever to make the top ten most played Xbox Live games list. It was an awesome game.

Epic wants to make UT3 modding and online play free. Xbox would throw those qualities down the toilet.

They could periodically release community bonus packs, and then the free still happens. It would still kick the **** out of any other console game's bonus content to date. It would own the **** out of every other games bonus content, it would just be a little below a PC UT release's expectations. It could totally work, besides it is coming to 360 no matter what. They do not have to demo the mod feature anyhow.

They don't only wants, they NEED to. They will lose lots of people, me included, if they don't. I'm aware its not only their fault right now, but they still would lose lots.

M$ doesn't know the meaning of the word "free", unless this "free" means "making money or some advantage to make more money".

Even if they allow 3rd party pieces into their (you bought the XBox, but it is still their), I have no doubt that the developer will have to follow strict and strong M$'s rules.

While I don't doubt it would destroy the other Xbox 360 games, I don't see it happening soon without lowering Epic's standing. When a PC game corporation starts marketing to Microsoft consoles, that's considered pretty low.

u hit the nail on the head

and screw that xbox controller with it's stinking wobbly control sticks; it's hard enough to aim in gears of war with those, and gears of war runs at a snail's pace compared to UT

I think they should, fix all the bugs with it, at least the major ones. I don't know if it's a good idea for them to put the demo out early. something tells me it probably would not. People would play it, want more and not get more, they would still be waiting and then go onto something else. Where as if they release a demo only after they know when the game will be released they can advertise the release date when they release the demo.

If the game gets really popular on xbox360 then it will have a flow on effect into the other platforms such as the PC and PS3 version.

But Gears 2 will be HUGE on 360, so I wonder how they will balance the release of UT3 along with Gears 2.

While I know Epic has said they have a working version of the game, I just don't see the game ever seeing store shelves. If you want to play this game, my guess is that you'll need to buy either a ps3 or get it for your computer. Oh and by the way, I love my ps3.
Wow, what a unbiased, and beliveable source you are.

Yeah, I also love my Xbox 360 with Gears of War and I'll be playing UT3 on Xbox 360 soon enough. Oh and Gears of War 2 also

the demo would do great on the 360 and i think the multi player would kickass aswell.i have the ps3 version and after the patch im still getn frozen at loading screens and the lag is putting me off so maybe the team will learn this and make the 360 version online better.i should just risk it and get a xbox again, they say third time lucky, maybe this xbox wont die on me lol.

This is exactly one reason why Xbox 360 needs a solid demo. I assume most of the "issues" that are patcch related have been addressed. I'll also assume that UT3 will run great on Xbox live. If the lag does'nt happen much, and some solid maps are relased, it can only help. Don't repeat the PC demo mistakes.
