Your favourite UT3 moment (excluding crazy kills)

There's a thread about crazy kills around, so I thought why not recount other crazy/fun moments? There's a lot more to this game than shooting people and dying, atleast to me.

For me it was when playing BattleRPG Invasion (the servers for which I for some reason can't see anymore) on Biohazard, and between waves I feinged on my back on the floor window on the upper level, immidiately some Iron Guard guy came to look at me (standing next to me, gun pointed downwards, towards me) and I heard the taunt "Oh smack!" I laughed like crazy, was probably somewhat tired and stuff, but it stuck to mind. I was thinking of just lying down myself, but it might've looked like fainting too, and the taunt knew it's place.

probably when i denied a redeemer with bio shot...by accident.
Or when I was in Sanctuary TDM, this guy was unfolding the redeemer, I shock combo'd him from the door closest to the link gun. I then grabbed it, turned around, fired, and got a mega kill mwhaha.
oh well..that was crazy kill post....

id say another fun time was when I was feign death on top of a tank when someone else was driving...

In the beginning when I saw the maps offline, I liked to look at the sea on OnyxCoast, TankCrossing and Islander.

More than once I just forgot that I was playing, and found myself doing that online

Oh when ur on ur Hoverboard and your grappled onto a flying vehicle. Like the raptor in Suspense or Torlan. so cool.

Cept i got sniperd once,and i never got the guy back.

When I first discovered I could place deployables on vehicles. Zipping through a bot-controlled Sandstorm on a Viper with a spidermine trap latched onto my wing... Definitely a carnage moment.

still holding my amusement is the shock combo effect, i mean the flinging you around effect that can get very carried away at times where you end up flying around in circles for ages before turning into a pile of mush, still makes me laugh.

My first encounters with Darkwalkers on Heatray were pretty memorable. Piloting the thing was awesome, but even more fun was duelling with one and managing to beat it through smart use of the environment. There was a very cinematic moment where I was inside the building by the invisibility and saw it come striding past the windows, looking for me. In any other game that kind of encounter would be scripted.

Another good moment was supporting a fully-manned Leviathan as it rolled straight for the core on Onyx Coast with all five guns firing, while the enemy attacked it from all directions. It was a real fireworks show, and the core was gone in no time.

Other generally good moments are just those rare occasions where you get intelligent, cooperative team mates who unselfishly heal, grapple/tow, and generally support you without you having to say a word. Doesn't happen as often as I'd like, but matches are always more enjoyable as a result, regardless of who wins.

My favorite UT3 moment was watching and playing in the tournaments held by the guys at prounreal and gameradius.org. IRC #ut3tdm. Hopefully there will be another 1v1 tournament I can play in!

Speaking of Darkwalkers and Heatray, I remember a while ago I was playing TDm on Heatray. I had a biorifle fully loaded up and as I was about to jump out of the opening of a building, a Darkwalker crossed my line of sight. So I released, what a fellow player dubbed as a 'Peter North special' , which ended up destroying the DW. It was quite funny at the time.

I've tried to be innovative in killing the walker every time someone gets on it, but there's always someone to sabotage my attempts by shooting me in the back. Blindfiring shock cores at where it's initially parked and getting me a Double Kill (normal DM) was my best, but that's already in the kill thread so...
