How is the community?

i'm beginning to wonder if the prominence of xbox 360's and the console in general has been killing pc shooters...

This forum has very little sense of community, as the moderators here closed alot of the entertaining threads. The game's community is pretty small atm. Yes, you can find great servers, but there's only a handful of servers with good ping for each gametype. Still, it's possible to get good games in most of the time. If you don't mind having a smaller community, it's good enough. Everyone would like for the community to be larger and more active, but it's not dead... yet.

Its the best game I've ever played, despite lacking some basic functionality, but I can't try and pretend the community isn't hurting bad.

Hey everyone, I used to play UT99 and was in Clan Zenkai (if there are any fellow Zenaki reading this)... I played 2k4 (Curse Clan)for a while but the community suffered somewhat... How is UT3's community?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, as I want to buy this game for PC and am looking for somewhat of a thriving community.
