Is it possible to use 2000+ dpi mouse on PS3?...

It seems that it can't use the full 2000dpi of my Razer Copperhead...and i was going to get another Lachesis for the ps3...so just wanted to know if somebody has had any luck using laser mouse on the ps3.

I like it better on pc...but all my friends have ps3 and ut3. Im used to 2000dpi, but can't get it to work....is it possible to use it or should I stick with whatever dpi the ps3 is able to provide?.....

EDIT: Copperhead works ok...but as a regular mouse...you dont get the benefit of it being laser and high dpi....(if you know a fix please tell)

Logitech is supported - I have G5 - works fine but extra buttons can not be used....
but still you can switch sensitivity

yea acctually using the 2000 dpi mode on my g5 is the only way my mouse seems to work right
