the split screen update?

i stopped playing the game even though i became quit good at it because im bored...the single player and online aren't that exciting anymore to me...
i want the split screen...what can i do to see that update any soon?

It was never promised to come as an update. They said they knew it was important and would look into the possibility, but expecting to see it happen is only going to lead to disappointment.
