Hardly any servers running custom maps??

I can't speak for other server admins, but as far as I'm concerned it's pretty hard to find the quality maps right now. In the Epic release forums the maps are thrown in with the mutators and everything else, and you can't filter by gametype. This makes it harder than it should be for me to find new content. =/

I think one of the problems with custom maps is that the compression doesn't really reduce the size that much and unless you have great bandwidth on your server for 15+- downloading a custom map that is about 45megs is gonna take a long time.

Yeah. Downloading custom UT3 maps on DSL almost reminds me downloading custom UT99 maps back when I was on dialup.

I second this, that section is worthless w/ out some type of filter, or it needs subforums broken down by type.
