Whatever happened to the days of taking a few minutes and messing around with the controls to figure out what does what? Hop into the Configure Controls screen, give it a once-over, then pop into an empty arena and start pressing buttons.
Do they really need to idiot proof things even more?

you took the words right out of my mouth! lol. took me about 30 secs to figure out keyboard controls.

That would be pretty sucky if you bougth a keyboard and mouse for your ps3 and found you couldn't double tap keys to dodge.

I did spend time messing with the controls/key assigments, and was in disbelief that dodging would not be in the game, so I was hoping I somehowe missed it. Jacka$$

Welcome to 2 and a half months ago

When you play against someone with a controller, they almost have an advantage because of it. They are flippin all around, and you are walking in zigzags with your keyboard, jumping sideways just waiting to be hit. If the patch ever does come out, it's going to be hard to readjust to being able to dodge and walldodge.

Dodgings works in the PC version, it also works in the console version.. IF you are using the controller, if you have a keyboard and mouse plugged into the console version the dodge currently doesnt work.

This seems to be the case. They HAVE TO FIX this asap.

and fix the no "down" key!! How they managed to "forget" to put a "down"(crouch) function for flying craft in the PS3 version is beyond stupid. We can't fly down now!! Unbelievable.

Do you mean with the m/kbd on the PS3? I was able to fly down with the controller when I tried it.

Then you clearly didn't spend enough time thinking and actually trying things like I suggested.
I guess we'll be seeing another of those newbie hints: "Double tap a direction to dodge"
Used to be that there were cool things to discover about a game. New tricks and moves that you learned as you went. This helped to give replay value to the game and deepen the experience as you progressed. I guess people are too lazy to learn it, now, and must have it spelled out for them or they'll never figure it out. There once was a time when the shock combo was something we got to discover ourselves. Now it's spelled out for any idiot to see. Play around and experiment, that's how you learn a game, anyway. They shouldn't have to absolutely spell out every last little thing.

yes, I use key/mouse and there is no "down" or crouch command to assighn a key to, so you can't fly down! Amazing oversight.

Ill try this right now but I saw no descend or down function in the setup menu to bind any key to. I'm referring to the PS3 version in case you missed that

Yeah I mean the PS3 version. On the controller you click in one of the joysticks but I don't know which because I don't use one.

And lol if I sounded hostile it's just because I've seen so many people say there's no down key for flying vehicles, and I am too easily agitated

Thanks, and you are correct! But how would anyone know?? it is not mentioned anywhere!

and...how do we change the key? I don't like it on C, and there is no "descend/down/crouch" listed in the keys setup!
Any ideas?
