Well for some reason the 174.12 drivers were causing me some real issues so I went back to the much more stable 169.44. These give me nearly the same performance as the 174.12 drivers but don't cause glitches and crashes. Plus Crysis seems to perform just a fraction better as well.

Anuban did you use Driver Cleaner between uninstalling and installing?
it might make a difference
some files get over written and some dont.
you wanna be sure your system is clear of all traces
after uninstalling the "old set"
who else uses Driver Cleaner?yes use Driver Cleaner in safe mode .
uninstall drivers, then reboot.
as it reboots, tap F8 til you get to safe mode menu.
use SAFE MODE - then, when you get to desktop, ( while in safe mode)
use driver cleaner to remove all remnants of drivers
reboot
install new drivers.
also DEFRAG!! and all the general pc maintenance stuff too.Comment
