using the 'board, you jump the moment you hit the wall. you will slide upwards and sideways if done imperfectly but with practice you can get over it without sliding to a side. I made a cap that way on kargo once, it was beautiful

I think even normal slope dodging is still possible, to a certain angle. There are just no slopes in that angle anywhere on the stock maps. :P

That's a funny video. I have all UT's and I still like UT2k4 and play it 3-4 times a week for a few hours. UT2K4 has everything, but the eyecandy. THAT'S IT!!!

UT2K4 owns UT3.


You rarely find players in UT3 servers. With UT2K4 you will ALWAYS find servers full with players.

Oh and one more thing...like someone else said before. Brother...learn to dodge!!! You need lots of practice.

I have to disagree with that ut2k4 full of players-part. Quite often I would have liked to play UT2k4, but it's impossible as absolutely no one is playing it online. Well, there are some people playing iCTF in stupid killcube maps and some ONS race servers, but I'm not too thrilled with either one...

If the game would have even some players left in DM,CTF or BR, I would actually play it.

ut3 is worse than ut2k4 and no video will proove otherwise...
ut3 has the eye candy gfx ut2k4 has the rest.
and as i specified many times before i have both so stop thinking about me beying jealous or something like that -.-
cause im rly not... my problem was that i expected to much from epic and the result is ut3.

cmon most ut2k4 players who play ut2k4 do that because of there PC and thats no shame... even then there are a lot old schoolers... and atm ut2k4 makes more fun then ut3 because i can use it properly without any anger attacks because of something in the menu etc...

I the reason why people play ut 2k4 instead is mostly that they dont have good rig to run ut3 on smooth graphics and if they get it smooth it looks like **** ,fuzzy and flurry, ect. I dont have good pc and i play ut3 but it makes my eyes hurt cause graphics setting i have set'ed and its hard for eyes to aim someone from far away.

Each to their own. I personally am glad UT3 has taken a step away from 2k4. And yes a lot has been fixed in the upcoming patch so stop making a fool of yourself.

If you dont like a part of the game then dont play that part. That is the reason for different gametypes that play completely differently. And do you honestly think you should be able to carry the flag in vehicles?

Oh and rest assured that someone somewhere is working on Bombing Run, Assualt and Domination.
