Epic can you do something with the instagib rifle.

plz epic, can you do something with the instagib rifle. compaired with all the
other nice effects the shockrifle has, the good old gibber is just plain boring.

ok, the gibber has like a discharge around the gun when fired, but even the
link gun has better effects than that, based on 5/5 settings.

the beam on the gibber just sucks imo, when matched to the shockrifle. it
just looks better & sounds better. when you miss someone & hit a wall with
the shock you see a little hit spot & a some smoke. the gibber on the other
hand there is nothing, no matter how high the settings.

then you do hit someone and the sound it makes is frankly awfull. the gibber
is supposed to be a modified shockrifle and imo should feel & sound more
powerfull. atm a kill sounds like someone dropped a water filled balloon.

Really? I liked the new Insta Gib model, its got a very basic feel to it. Seeing as it has a very basic function, one shot -> dead.

Sniper is ok for me , about the shock being good effects wise, that is about all that is good about it :- the feel is probably one of the biggest factors in keeping the 2k4 hardcore from UT3. As a decent-ish new player (2100 elo) most of my kills(1000+ out of 3800 total kills) are with the shock/combo and quite frankly it is wildly inconsistent and unpleasant to use. I swear sometimes you can stand still and miss a shock ball I know they didn't want the dominance of shock like 2k4, but at the moment , I don't know how it will perform at any particular moment in game- laggy or not? I'm getting tired of dodging rockets aimed at my feet and stinger dominance at mid range -rant over.
