Character Name Announced on Selection?

In UT 2k3, the announcer would announce your character when you selected it. It was removed in UT 2k4, for reasons unknown to me. I wish to know whether UT 3 has this "feature". Thanks.

P.S I loved playing with the character name announcements in UT 2k3. Was really cool. SELIG!! MACOLM!!! Missssttteeerr CRoooooow!

nope doesnt do it in this one either. that was really cool. at least we still have the multi kill announcement yet i still havent heard the "HOLY SH%$!" wonder if its still in the game.

"Wicked Sick" was kind of lame but it was funny as to hear it.

Mr. crow is one of the characters that still had its name announced when you'd select it in unreal tournament 2004.

There were more but I don't recall their names, sadly.

I'm pretty sure Crow was the only one. His name was announced because if you beat the SP as him you'd unlock the toilet chair vehicle.
