    Post processing and hardware physics?

Could anyone explain what these mean place and which are the best options to use? I can basically run this game at max settings so anything to improve my visuals even more would go down nice...

Edit: And under sound, HarwWare OpenAl...

Hardware physics is for Ageia PhysX cards, and will improve performance on Ageia maps.

Post processing is something about colors..

Post processing are effects which are added on after the 3d image is rendered. Such as glow, bloom, motion blur, distortion, and so on.

Hardware physics is if you have a physx card. It will make the card calculate the physics instead of your CPU in order to reduce it's workload.

OpenAL can give you nicer sound and slight reverberation effects, but it can also cause problems (that mostly have a fix) with X-Fi cards.

The Post Processing options will basically determine various levels of brightness and contrast. Default will probably be the most balanced, but it can also be kind of bland. Vivd will get you higher contrast between your brights and darks, and Intense will give you a brighter scene pretty much all-over. These don't really have any effect on performance, I don't think, so set them as you like. Personally, I find Vivid to be the prettiest.

Yep, post processing doesn't have effect on performance.
I prefer vivid - game is more contrasted, more 'alive'.
Muted will cause your game 'grey'.
And the last one (i don't remember name of it) will make whole screen brighter, and flat (imho). On bright maps such Avalanche u may have problem with recognizing players on distance.

I find I can see characters better with it on default although I like the look of vivid more.

the maps that i find "Vivid" a little too much are Deck and Carbon Fire. Its extreamly dark in those maps, so I have to put them back to defualt.
