Fold down the flag on the hoverboard?

I've seen some people running the flag in VCTF that have the flag folded down... like the flag pole is tucked under their arm. It may be when they're on foot too, but I'm pretty sure I usually see it when they're hoverboarding.

Anyone know how that's done?

I thought I was the only one wondering this.

They are holding the flag pole horizontally, instead of the usual vertical position.

I generally see it while they are on hoverboard, but occasionally on foot as well (well, generally they are first on hoverboard, then get off hoverboard and the flag remains horizontal).
