Tab key needs a cover

The tab key to console. I will have to fab up an aluminum plate to cover it. This is an evil thing for me. Really, really, a pain for a UT2004 player. Why is it even there? What does it do? Why did it have to change from the ~?

Ya, I used the TAB for the shield gun in 2004. I did however bind the console back to the tilde key but cannot bind the TAB to the impact hammer.

How did you bind the console to the tilde? Did that kill the tab?

Under [Engine.Console]

Find the 'ConsoleKey' line, change it to:

ConsoleKey=Tilde

Bump,still need a command as it`s annoying when i`m used to pressing tab on most games to show the score,yet ut3 it`s the type key

They changed it away from the tilde key because it's not mapped the same on all keyboard layouts, making a it a particularly bad choice. The current F10 and tab are much better, if not perfect (but nothing is).
