    So then.. time we had a cache convertor

    Ive figured out a way to make a cache convertor which will rip maps from the cache.. but i cant get it working for mutators. im not going in to the in's and outs as to why

    please post your thoughts and answer the poll so i can get your feedback

        I vote:
        I will be glad to use it if it only supports maps, but I also will be a lot more satisfied if you can do mutators aswell.

        Its not an option

          I want both, but mostly it's just because seeing your tweaker get more and more powerful, then it's just nice to have it all in 1 place

            Having both maps and mutators extractable would make demo viewing easier, but I'm happy with whatever we'll get.

              Can someone please explain me what will a cache extractor do...? If it's to rip maps and mod them, I don't think it is even legal... so I don't really understand what will that cache extractor do

                We need an extractor but will it be able to get the content to work in the games root folder though?

                  hm. really cant see how i could get the mutators working. theres alot of guess work in the script... and with muts being so small in size it'l cause complications.... or would it.... hmm.... .u file..... .ini file.....

                  ini < u && upk > u ...... that might just work..... sorry just thinkin out loud. saves me scribbling more notes. run out of paper lol

                      when you connect to a server and you dont have a map or mutator it downloads it on to your system so you can play..

                      a cache convertor translates the temp files it downloaded so you can then host the map, or play them when ever you want.

                        Oh well, then a cache convertor is indeed a good thing Thank you for working on that project. Oh and maps over mutators... couldn't really care about mutators!

                          Everything that is "Cached" we want to be able to suck out!
                          ...and Delete so we can "Clean House" sorta speak.

                          I want...count me in.


                          ps - would custom models be an option too?
