I took these screenshots because I was interested in seeing which graphical settings were the prettiest and also if DX10 support made any difference, and I couldn't find any comparisons when I searched. I'm now posting them here to share my findings with the community. The following screenshots were taken with World and Texture detail at 5 and with no modification to the UTEngine.ini file other than disabling DX10 for the DX9 screenshots. My system specs are:
2GB RAM
nvidia 8600M GT - 256MB (plus whatever else it needed to allocate from system memory; my card was also underclocked at the time, courtesy of Apple)
C2D T7700 @ 2.4GHz
LaptopVideo2Go nvidia ForceWare X 169.09 drivers (I probably could have gotten a higher FPS if I was using 169.28 or even 171.16, but performance wasn't the goal of this test)
Vista Ultimate with all the latest patches (also, plenty of fine tuning of the system to reduce memory usage by the OS itself. Yay for disabling useless services!)
I tried to keep the image the same as best I could for all the screenshots. I chose Heat Ray because it provided a lot of different graphical components all in one place, which was convenient.

I hope these shots help you guys decide which postprocess you like the most. Also, from what I could tell while running around with and without DX10 on, there wasn't any difference in appearance, but also no difference in performance. If anyone else wants to post comparison shots of these settings in other places (or any other settings, such as the various settings that make the game look less blurry and such or the World and Texture detail settings), please, go ahead. It'd be nice to have a collection of shots that show how changing various settings helps performance and/or graphics.
