Does anyone else find it REALLY annoying when......

..... you grab the orb, grapple someones manta and they take you on a white knuckle ride to HELL by jumping off cliffs and eventually slamming you hard into the floor and you end up getting gibbed?

Does this bug anyone else? Its more frustrating that the vehicle drivers have no idea they are escorting the all-important orb carrier only to slam them into the floor.

It would be awesome to see in a future patch the yellow round symbol for the orb appear on your hud when you have an orb carrier grappling....... kinda like the crosshair dots that appear when someone grapples which is cool but you only get them on normal crosshairs not simple (I use simple)

You always see people turning round in their manta/viper to check you've hitched on....... it would be really cool to see an indicator for grappiling made more obvious too in future updates. We'll have to see I guess - I hope someone reads this that can make it happen !

I have been guilty of this a few times myself. It's kinda funny, but annoying at the same time (i have been on both ends).

I think it is way more annoying how sometimes ppl grapple to like the raptor or some other flying vehicle. I have tried it many times, and it never lets me grapple. Anyone know if this is a hack or what?

I give up resisting the temptation once my team is pretty much guaranteed the win. =)

you can also get off the hoverboard right before hitting the ground or rock and the impact damage will be much less. ive saved myself a bunch of times like that.

Only one person can grapple the Raptor at a time. Different vehicles vary on the number of people they can tow.

Yeah, all the times I tried it I was the only person around and nobody else was grappling... it's weird.

Not only does getting off the hoverboard right before impact reduce damage (which i'm not sure about), but it will prevent you from dropping the orb/flag.

You know... we wouldn't be complaining about the icons of the grapple on the crosshairs if we could only zoom out the view from our vehicles...

There definitely needs to be some indication that the person grappling you is the all-important orb/flag carrier and not just a random team mate looking for a ride. Beyond that I think it's largely up to the person grappling to keep themselves from slamming face-first into a wall (steering, disconnecting at the right time, etc), because there's only so much control you have with something like a Viper. If you slow down to the point that it's a smooth ride for them then they'd probably be faster going solo.

I do find it very chuffing annoying if, on the rare occasions I'm using a nightshade, I get someone grappling onto it.

They may as well put a neon sign on it so the enemy can see me plus it's slower than a hoverboard anyway!
