i dont know whats happening with the lag issues on ut3 can someone help!!

i have ut3 since i bought the ps3, it is the best game realeased for ps3 but i dont know what to do with the lag issues i aim with any weapon i shoot and like half an hour later the bullet hits the target im desperate i dont know what to do please help

Are you playing only on low pinging servers? Because you should be. Low ping is your friend.

Dont even bother playing with a server over 100 ping. Infact try not to play in a server with a ping over 70, especially if you aint a rocket *****.

What is your internet connection then? I don't know about US, but in Europe you can find lots of sub 60ms pings no matter what country you live in. That being for the PC version though.

I normally just host my own room. If you still have lag then upgrade your connection

Do you live in Europe by any chance?
I live in Europe, have the PS3 version and I also have high ping rates. sometimes there is no server unter 140 ping in the list; at the bottom there sometimes even are servers with 2500 ping (I kid you not!) ... what is that?
Don't say it's my internet connection, I have cable. And sometimes I even get lucky and get a server with 70 or 80 ping ... or 40, once it was 40, that was a really good one. I assume that the servers with low ping are in Europe and the rest are in the US ... but I seldom get some with low pings. I assume the EU community doesn't play this game enough.
