Your UT3 PS3 Ping?

Well, my lowest ping tends to be the lower 100s and 2500 at max. I can never enter 2500 games, though. I have seens as low as 90s ping before, though. Also, 200-400 ping games seem to work best for me.

My ping times have in general been good or bad depending on the internet weather, but on a typical day I have no problems getting 4 or 5 servers with sub 100 pings.

It varies, connection to connection. (and with people trying to hog the connection it can get screwy).

nop..i think this is the hugest problem of ut3 ps3..the servers!!

imagine the online structure of resistance in ut3...WOW!!! but dreaming is allways good!

EPIC we need better servers!!! and please let the ability to host a dedicated server from a PC, this would be a HUGE & smart thing to do!

100% agree with you! resistance online structure is like playing offline or have a ping of 0 !!! i have no idea why resistance have such a awesome connection and why midway always use "ping" **** for their games.

Lowest is around 30. Once in a while epic servers will show up @ around 90.

Highest is 2500.

ping on midway servers for me is usually 90-130, still about a 1 second delay sometimes

Seriously needs to be sorted out. I havn't played one game online where when you fire say; a rocket, or secondary fire on the flak cannon or enforcer it'll fire straight away.

Sniper seems to work though haha.

I've seen the pings getting worse and worse. I don't even bother with official servers anymore, there's just no point. Maybe that's what they want anyway, to force people to make their own servers and save them the cost. The lowest Warfare server I see anymore is like 260 ping. I mean come on...that's not a real dedicated server.

I figured out I can usually host 8 people without worrying about lag, so I do the smaller maps on WAR and it's usually pretty fun. None of that stupid running behind the hoverboard lag BS in user-hosted servers. No elevator glitches in user servers. If only I had more bandwidth I could host 12 player servers without lag and play on them.

Whatever it is, it's starting to fade from my mind. I haven't played UT3 in a couple of months at least. There's simply better options out there for a non-buggy game. Call of Duty 4 comes to mind.

Sorry, Epic, but online play is why I bought this. $60 is now gathering dust in my game drawer, and I'll balk at buying another.

If you guys have anti-virus/spyware applications running on your PC's, disable it and try again. When my AV/AS software is running my ping is usually at the 150+ mark. Without it I get 50-100 on average.

My computer is always shut down when im playing ut3
