Is the Pc version playable with xbox 360 controller? I have the Wireless adaptor so I can use all of my wireless 360 accessories with my pc. So far ive really only got use of it, using my wireless mic for Ventrilo... The quality is the same(good if you didnt know), it saved me about $60 buying a similar wireless headset strictly for my PC... And I can use it with UT3, but I dont know of any controller support for the game...Now I know some of you are gonna be like "the mouse/keyboard combo isbetter and more accurate" I know and I agree, but I get bad carpal tunnel syndrome playing with the M/k combo for more than an hour or so, and I dont get it using the controller...On top of that, im not that good(im new to PC gaming), and I play with bots mostly, and the precision of a m/k combo isnt really needed. I feel like im rambling on and on so...Is the Pc version playable with xbox 360 controller? Once I get a new GFX card, and I can run it smoother, i'll get better with the stardard setup, but wanna play comfortably with the game pad now..

I'm sure there's a program that could enable it, but sadly, by default, the answer is no.
I also have a 360 controller, and while I prefer playing keyboard and mouse... sometimes I lower the difficulty a bit and enjoy a go with the gamepad. So I can keep up the skill for when forced to play with console-toting friends =) -
Hopefully theres a patch soon for it...Im not saying put other important things aside, but it'd be a great addition for people who cant wait for the 360 version, but arent good with a mouse and keyboard setup....Originally posted by Harmatia View Post

If you PC has blu-tooth, or you can get a blu-tooth dongle cheap, the PS3 controller will work with a PC.Comment

Yeah but is the PS3 controller (or any game pad) compatible with the Pc ver. of UT3? That's the whole issue....In any case, I think the PS3 six axis controller feels too light and cheap....I also am not too fond of the button/analog stick layout... Even if it did work, im strapped for cash, and cant afforsd to shell out $70+ just to play it with a crappy controller....IF they add support for the 360 controller, I'll use that, but I dont really like the Six Axis enough....Originally posted by Larry L View PostComment

There was this awesome program that, when turn on, would map any given key to a gamepad button. It was a pretty popular program I think, though I forget the name.. :\Comment

You don't need a program. You can use a controller with some .ini editing. I have used it works well. The game actually comes with an in-game controller settings menu, you just have to enable it in the .ini.
