Will Mac & PC work together online?

Great to be back. Quick question...title says it all...can we expect Mac and PC players working together. Just want to be sure about that (as I know console + PC is a no go).

I don't see why it should not, I think ut2k4 was compatible online between mac and PC.

All previous UT titles were compatible across Mac and PC platforms.

Yes it's for OS X. No it's not out yet. Could you imagine if the Mac, Linux and Windows playerbase were seperate? The OS X (and Linux) version would have the lowest player count in the histroy of games.

No reason what so ever that OS X, Linux OS's can't play on the same servers, they use the same protocols so. It's not like consoles where they play in their own world.

I think it would really boost more sales if they made this game cross platform with consoles aswell... I don't know what epic was thinking.

New PC players are bad enough at this game as it is, yet alone console players >_<

In ut2004, linux, mac, windows are compatible and play on same servers even.
I don't see How the Mac version of UT3 be incompatible with Os online.
I think cross platform is a very good idea
