    err before you start messing with services you might want to take note of what you have changed or export the services list, which makes a txt file of the entire list and current settings
    for the average user, dont change anything...
    the only benefit i get from having less unused servies started are reduced bootup and faster response when i enter desktop.
    i avg around 15-20sec from restart back to desktop

      Yes, but turning off some service might be result into the opposite way: long boot times because windows trys to start the service a few times with no positive response.
