    Keyboards

I am presently using a Logitech Elite wired keyboard I bought about 5 years or so ago.

It is OK for gaming and also for doing email and typing on forums.

Looking into a new keyboard to go with the new PC.
    Saitek has a few.
    Cyborg

    Eclipse II Keyboard

    Eclipse

    And the expensive Deck Legend

Anyone using any of these for both everyday duty and gaming?
Is the Deck worth the money?

I ended up ordering the green backlit Legend, it will be here Wednesday.

I also got some extra key caps for the A D S D that have the letters on them, plus the arrows that correspond to them.

I will see how I like it, and if it is worth the $$$.
You can return them if not happy with them.

This same company is actually TG3 Electronics.

They make a lot of the keyboards that are in police cars and in the medical field.

I would have recommended the Saitek Eclipse II, although that looks pretty similar.

I like the Eclipse as it has no extra buttons, a nice feel to it, fairly quiet of buttons, nice backlighting-- blue =)-- and its pretty cheap.

I got my youngest son the Saitek Eclipse II for Christmas a few years ago, and have played around on it.

The Deck has harder key to push, and also more of a clack/click sound to them from what I have read.

And no frills on it either, just a straight keyboard.

Keyboard is a keyboard in my eyes, I go for the one with the nicest feel and easiest to reach keys (a lot of my gaming friends are currently moving from wasd to esdf.. personally I couldn't stand it without a new board to suit the change)..

I have a Keysonic, black, laptop style. Works great and was only around 15£.

???, why are we not allowed to post pictures in the general forum here?

It came yesterday, and I really like it.
You can adjust the green LEDs from 0 to 7 on the keyboard with 0 being off.

Keys give a nice solid response and click to them.
Playing UT was nice with it too.
I have some custom caps to replace a few, will tackle that later.

It is worth the money for these?
Will have a better feel of that after I have ran it for a week or so.
