thats nice and all, but it doesnt matter much to me until they start adding destructable environments/ground/buildings etc.
the agiea physx maps arent really impressive because only certain parts of the terrain were destructable.
if there arent shadows on the debris, it looks so fake. will ppl start using more physics for gameplay instead of looks?
Its cool indeed, but the Unreal Engine 3 has better graphics and i like Unreals custom style Gameplay.
Although GTA4 is gonna be using the Havok engine, so imagine what it will be like when getting hit by a car lol
Haha!
You mean the instant you accualy hit the car the framerate drops to 1-3FPS with uberlag for 4-5 seconds and then it resumes to normal speed and you never accualy got to se what happend when you crashed, only before and after
I couldn't care less about how my guy reacts to shots. This is UT, it's all about the gameplay.
QFT. I play this game to enjoy its inner mechanics, not because it has big explosions and bad-*** chars. >_> I don't even notice how this game looks tbh. :P
The character movement could do with a little more physics, ATM the players, especially when jumping a long distance or falling, look like they are getting pulled about by the nipples It's a bit of an odd movement style and makes it hard to judge exactly where a layer will land.
