How do I choose friendly bots (offline play)?

Another feature bites the dust

I'm trying to do Team Deathmatch under Instant Action. I go to the Bots and whatever I pick for "Active Bots" only seem to be for enemy bots. Is there a way to choose the bots on my team?

It's just a little annoying when one of my friendly bots happens to be the same character I chose. Just want to change them to different characters than me.
