problem instaling

i'm having some trouble getting the game started after it's installed. It completes it's installation but when i try to play the screen goes black for a while and then turns blue saying something was running in an infinite loop and it had to stop to prevent damage to my computer how can i remedy this?

the screen says ''the device driver was stuck in an infinite loop this usually indicates a problem with a device itself '' exactly what it says and each time it does this i have to restart my pc (it wont do anything else) help me out here
