Game Problem. Help

I just downloaded the game. I tried to launch the game, and the game picture came up, and then it went full screen like it was going to launch and it just stayed at black screen and wont go anywhere, or to any main screen. Any help? My specs:
8800GTS 640MB DDR3
1 GB RAM
Pentium 4 2.80 GHZ Processor.
Windows XP.

First download the latest drivers for your video and audio cards. Then download the UT3 patch 1.1.

If that doesn't work then go to the Technology and Troubleshooting section of this forum. Post your problem in detail along with your complete system specs (CPU, video card incl manufacturer, RAM, audio card, etc. and the driver versions of you video and audio card.
