ps3 ranking

using an SD tv?...I was at my wife's parents for christmas, and her brother and I both got the game for christmas (been driving me nuts to not get to open it sooner)...they have an HD Samsung CRT, but I forgot a component cable (no HDMI on that tv)...so were stuck with composite, i.e. standard def...

and I noticed the same thing on the rankings...I didn't know what it meant...I thought at the time it was simply like a "level" or something...similar to CoD 4...but when i got home and had the game properly HD'd...I that the full number would be displayed...

not sure if Epic will do anything about it...but as I could tell there is no way to get it right on an sd tv...

ok how come the ranking system is messed uup or is it just me. ok i play pure servers only and on the leader borders to the left of me my rank says like 6... or 1... why doesnt it say rank# 1004 or # 199 .
