If anyone wants to see what the server browser SHOULD be like, fire up World in Conflict. All player stats, badges, clan rankings, clan members, ladder ranking, etc are right there in the browser. THAT is what Epic should be doing.

IMHO I'd take the whole 2k4 interface back.
It's modal dos like nightmare. And the whole thing with the menu selections that run away from your mouse as you roll over them, BAD idea, apple proved that with the its dock which user quickly demanded the option to turn that effect off.Comment

I don't know, imho, I didn't think the 2k4 browser was anything special. Sure, it worked fine, but it didn't have much in the way of in-game stats and stuff. It was much better than the UT3 interface, true, but other games have done it better since. Like I said, check out the World in Conflict one for an example of how to do a server browser properly. Which I'm sure helped it to get the Multiplayer game of the year award from IGN.
P.S. - this isn't a plug for WiC by the way, I just like the browser
