    ForceWare 169.28 Beta

nVidia has just released a new set of beta drivers especially meant for the retail version of our (more or less ) beloved Unreal Tournament 3.

ForceWare Beta Release 169.28 is provided below for customers experiencing issues with the retail version of Unreal Tournament 3. This driver is only recommended as an update for these customers. All other customers are recommended to use the latest WHQL or Beta drivers offered on NVIDIA.com.
    ~ Downloads @ nZone ~

As usually there are downloads for US as well as for International drivers listed and suitable for Windows XP, Vista 32 & 64.

I just installed them myself because last night I encountered my first ever screenfreeze @ UT3. But not the PC was fully frozen, it was only UT3 which didn't respond anymore so I could luckily stop it with Crtl+Alt+Del and just restart it. Just hoping the driver fixes such problems... YEAH, I'm a little naive

For some reason, it keeps putting two "http://"'s in it..

      http//www.nzone.com/object/nzone_ut3_downloads.html

Copy and paste that into your browser.

They were released 3 days ago, they were on the net at various sites before the WHQL .25s were on the Nvidia site, best source for drivers I've come across: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?id=32

They got driver betas Nvidia never release to the public and the public ones before Nvidia release them.

Yes, but theres no release notes, no nothing.

So I better stick to (official) Betas from nZone.com

Chief-Justice: the files are identical, they are the "official" ones.
