    Ping question (PS3)

Hi, I was wondering if there's any way to check your ping on the PS3 version of UT3. Also, if someone with a high ping joins someones server, will the ping of that server go up?

Don't believe there is a way to check or see your (or others) latency in game.....yet anyways.

Yes, if someone with high latency joins the game it can affect the whole server. Dedicated servers will probably be affected less than a server being hosted by another player however.

You can see your ping to a server if you go through Join a Match rather than the quick game or whetever it is called. Can specify if mouse/keyboard is allowed, what time of game, etc and then the game will show you a list of servers, at the far right will be the ping time highest ping is at top of the list usually, so scroll down to bottom to find a server worth joining.

This is not true, the server may lag more if there are more players or if a player is joining, but not if a particular person is lagging. This may occur on other games but UT is not among that list.

its an onomatopoeia that you say when you flick someone in the head.

And the subsequent cheering towards the flickers actions.

ping is the time it takes for your computer to 'talk' to the server, basically time of when u shoot and when the weapon shoots...ul get it
