PC sales figures for UT3 suggest that Epic is experiencing something like a boycott/rebellion from the PC players.

I agree, I changed "save" to "fix".
A bullshots is a screenshot of the game that has better graphics than the final product, we can´t know that the screenshots are bullshots until the game is out, some pre-orders the game and therefore it can be used for marketing, not so nice to the gamers.

EPIC can still save the game
This game doesn't need to be "saved". But it does need to be added to and tweaked to be better. Patches, Bonus Packs and Community are the means of this happening. That said this thread probably will be closed because there are many others like it. Epic knows what they need to do. They just aren't communicating it to us since they will be yelled at and probed for more info. If they say something and either don't do it, or don't implement it like people would like to see (you can't please everyone) they will see even more fallout. It's lose-lose. better to keep quiet and work on it behind the scenes.

    What is wrong EPIC?!

UT3 sales number are bad and there´s probably many reasons why. We actually don´t know how much EPIC are doing if they are working with a new patch, they should communicate better with their fans. We want to know the status of the new patch for example
    .
I have some questions that hopefully will make EPIC start to fix some things!

Why have you done UT3 so graphics-mod/tweak unfriendly? Someone over there at EPIC, especially Mark Rein should pay more attention to the PC-gamers. The graphics in UT3 is good, far from un-paralled though, I mean Crysis and many other PC-games totally crushes UT3 graphically. The graphics in UT3 rely much more on artwork than on technology, which is a shame for a PC-game.

If that´s true then why havn´t you let the texture have their original size on the PC-version!? Because it won´t work on older computers and on the PS3? Please re-think, make it an option! An option that gamers with a good computer can play with enabled.

I thought UT3 would have many 2048x textures and only few blurry, unfortunately I was wrong. I thought the characters would look the same as the bullshots, unfortunately I was wrong again. If UT3 represents an advanced game using UnrealEngine3 then UnrealEngine3 isn´t impressive in my opinion.
If UT3 doesn´t represent an advanced game game using UnrealEngine3 then why have you at EPIC choosen to embarasse your Engine like that?
Here are some links to bullshots, this is how I wanted the game to look but EPIC just couldn´t let the PC-version look better than the PS3 version?

There´s so many graphics things that are so un-impressive in UT3 that the graphics in UT3 is almost a shame in comparasion with the bullshots. All this time EPIC have had to develope the game and this is what we PC-gamers get, I mean they have done many UT-games before and the UT-games always had the best textures and graphics when they came out, UT3 hasn´t.

So it would have been okey if we could tweak up the graphics, add textures with higher resolution, but NO! We can´t do that, because EPIC doesn´t want us to. All files must be "cooked" . That "cooking" system doesn´t allow us to tweak the game because it downgrades the quality of the textures and many other things. Why they have done this, I don´t know, maybe because they want the PC-version and the PS3-version to look about the same, or maybe because they want all mods and tweaks the PC has to be compatible on the PS3 aswell?
They have even done script to make effects like motionblur un-avaiable on the PC, they have ectually wasted time on such things.
I feel like EPIC have choosen to do this game for PS3 and then just done a fast PC-version.

EPIC can still fix the game by taking away that "cooking" system and everything else that limits all the graphics tweakers and modders from making this game look like PC next-gen graphics.

There´s a reason why UT3 looks almost the same on PC and PS3, sabotage or lazyness and what´s even worse is that they wont let us fix it with tweaks and mods.
It´s almost fair that UT3 has sold so bad, EPIC can blame their selves for that.

EPIC please don´t ignore instead make the game better and I can almost promise you that UT3 will sell much better than it does now.

    Good luck!
