PS3 has aim assist, no way I'm ever going to fight against an auto-aimer.

What would be the difference between that and an instant action match against novice bots?

Didn't you get the memo? PC wins by default.

Obviously if they were to implement it they would remove all the differences...
But as Mark Reign said in an interview, apparantly it takes a lot of time to send patches through the PS3's security system and thus wouldn't want to hold up the PC players. Although considering maps etc can be downloaded I don't really see the problem.

Or wait... was that only for xBOX 360?

Anyway, I think we need some kind of cross-platform thing in order to have a decent sized community. Would be great if it did happen, just think we're a little too late down the line.

Too many people didn't want it and I still don't get why, anyone could guess the community wouldn't be very big. As for the thing against controllers? You get loads of people on the PC who can barely master movement...

Boy what I'd pay to have this. And btw FAC3 is right the ps3 doesn't have any autoaim, i checked it out against some bots.
The ps3 version should be able to do everything the pc can (demorecording, console, etc.)

honestly I don't see the problem with having the option. On the PS3 you can choose whether or not to support Kb/m. wouldn't it be possible to do the same thing to deny PC or ps3 systems alltogether?

They could release the patch as a mod, problem solved

Yeah, merging all servers would be great, as long as you can filter and allow/disallow controllers and mouse from the server setup screen.
