I disagree with this entirely. I feel that the vast majority of good titles hit consoles first or exclusively now. You just have such a massive amount of titles hitting console's they aren't always the easiest to find.

Playing games like Zelda for Wii, Mario Galaxy, Gears of War...GEARS outshines or comes close to basically any game that hit the market last year on PC OR CONSOLE.

Granted, I don't buy a lot of games for my consoles, but there is just some GREAT gaming out there for them. I hate the limitations of console gaming and think they're still years behind PCs in that respect with community building and game support, but overall, once you get a top to bottom incredible experience of a game like GEARS, which is what i bought the 360 for, I realized that I had been remiss in rushing to judgments like this.

I havent touched my 360 ever since I found out how much Halo 3 sucks. That was the one game I was looking forward to. 360 for sale!!! :P

I waited on a 360 to see what Halo 3 looked like, it looks as bad as halo 2 was.

I have my computer connected to my big screen, what is your point? I can play games, movies, i can work in CAD and many other things on my TV. I have my sound connected to my surround system so I can listen to the movies in all there glory (i game w/ a headset).

Exactly! Which is why console gamers are so clueless. Half of them probably don't even know that you can hook up a PC to a TV. I think I should just gear my quote towards console gamers.

I bash on consoles because they rarely have good games. I have not appreciated a game on a console since FF3. I feel the platforms are great, but that the games are aimed at a young player base and designed poorly. 90% of the console game I have owned, i have stopped half-way through and sold. Halo 1, KOTOR 1 and NFL Fever 2002 are the only games from the last generation I still own, the rest I thought where garbage.

Console + HDTV + 5.1 speakers lasts for more than two years. And sorry to burst your bubble but more people out there understand why I will put more money in a nice TV and sound system than just a console or PC ...

And I ll laugh at your tiny screen when you will watch DVDs, nerds are funny too ...

Anyways I can't stand controllers, and UT is not the real UT on PS3. Slower gameplay ftl. That goes to show you that a controller can't do what a KB+M can.

BTW: I can watch TV on my rig if I wanted to so that makes your "I watch television on it!" completely worthless.

What is funny is that UT2003/4 were originally designed as console games but Epic got it right and had many features such as very tweakable graphics and a console for commands. But UT3 which was supposed to be designed as a PC game is more consolised.

Epic, please explain why you could add the features for UT2003/4 but not for UT3.
