Patch 2 -- what should be included?

My wishes for next patch...

- Give an option to turn off white arrows

- Give an option to turn off dynamic music

- Give an option to turn off bloom/DOF

- Fix sandstorm 'bug'

- Game settings get saved after match (muts etc), by mode.

- Fix menu so I don't have to return to main menu after each map

- Add 'new' more powerful sound to insta rifle and add zoom!

There still is, you just cant use it through ut2k4 anymore. Its called IRC. UT2004 had a inbuilt IRC client which worked buggy and 99% of the people used better irc clients anyway, so they haven't put it in UT3. A shame for new people but I suggest you download mIRC for irc now. http://www.mirc.com/get.html

I don't know if they fixed it in the current 1.1 patch,

* customized crosshairs (I realise there are mods out there but they are too complicated )
* Clean up the UI
* Bring back the ability to hear your own autotaunts + your pic
* add the ability to add favorites without actually entering the server and exiting and then going to your history tab

For me i'd like two things.

Fix the hitching that many of us are experiencing.

The reason it loads is because it uses a 3d scene as the background. Then so much blur is applied on top of it that the background could just as well be a greyish blob slowly deforming.

Just replace this with a static picture, no one will see the difference, especially since almost all of that thing is covered by the red menu background thing.

Seriously, don't create loading times for the sake of almost invisible cosmetic touches that no one cares about.

- i want whatever makes UT3 have like 3.000 players online (CoD4 has sometimes 30.000+, and it was released at the same time as UT3....), instead of the current 200-1100 which it has now....

People like realistic / real world settings in their games at the moment, that's just the way it is unfortunately...

When I tell my friends to play UT3 they use the argument the game is too good and they are afraid it will destroy their social life. Is that why UT2k4 was less popular than UT99 and why UT3 is gonna be less popular? THE GAME IS TOO FRICKING GOOD?

Ah well, theres always enough servers full when I feel like playing so.
