Patch 2 -- what should be included?

    No I am not wrong. I played all the unreal's, and this weapon just sucks. First it lookslike a FisherPrice weapon, and second, you can't hit **** with it. I rather have a shield gun then this ****. Now you get killed alot when you're only choice is this weapon.

    In UT1 the weapon was much more powerfull, and the rifle in UT03 and 04 was very good balanced for a first weapon. You actually had a chanche when facing someone with a real gun ...

                More UT2004 characters, less Gears of War ones, atm, it seems like the character designer/s like watching Mr&Mrs Universe & think phwooooa, he's/she's sexy :P we don't all get the horn watching musclemen/women, some more leaner characters pleeeeeeease!

                I'm not promoting anorexia, but in light of the plodding beefcake characters UT3 has introduced, gimme someone I WANT to play as!

                it's a chunkfest at the mo, a chunkfest of chars who have no individual personality, all look the same and have the intelligence of a half eaten Pot Noodle.

                  By the way, the Redemeer is a joke right now. Even when it comes close to you, you just fall down and nothing more. Its hard to kill anyone with the redeemer. They should change that so it's usefull. Now it's more like a stungun which sucks.

                      Not sure if it's been mentioned or not but..

                      *Fix the scoreboard in botmatches so that that all the players and scores are listed not just the "top five". I play 12 player botmatches, but the scoreboard makes it look like 10. This is during teamgames, no idea if it works properly in DM.

                          So your telling me because of your lack of skill (Yes I said it) the Enforcer is under powered?

                          Hm. Enforcers ROF (Rate of fire) Is extremely fast.

                          Primary 20HP per shot. And has a long range.

                          Secondary does 70HP and its mostly close range.

                          A person has 100 HP at spawn.

                          ....

                          OH NO I HAVE TO HIT THEM 5 TIMES ITS SO HARD.

                          The enforcer is wonderfully balanced. Learn to use it.

                            Pretty sure you can feign death (using F) to avoid the squash, although the Pros will usually realise they haven't "PANCAKE!"-ed someone and will start 'pew pew-ing' them. (It's worked ONCE for me ...)

                            Pretty sure you can do this via the .ini's although like everyone's saying (including myself) a MUCH better UI would be better for the not so geeky.

                            Now THAT's an awesome idea!! (Reminds me of COD4, although there's no 'class' specifics in UT3.) - Maybe just give you highlighted player colours or floating transparent orbs or something.

                            Yep these are a problem, although you ARE supposed to guard your spawn points (unless there's many of them). Also, they should indicate how long Spidermines last for, or if they're destroyable, because I've messed with them a bit (as in run into enemy ones unknowingly) and cannot seem to destroy them, and when in a Nightshade it's hard to know if mine have run out (I assume they disappear after a few mins).


                            And I would like to add:
                            - Online stats (so we can view them when we're not playing, pretty much like the XBOX Live Gamertag pages).
                            - Give an option to disable the main menu 3d graphics (like in a UT2004 Mod DA2, which had a similar thing (3d-rendered menu background))
                            - Allow binding to the Tab key for the Scoreboard (it doesn't work using the ini files)
                            - Allow binding the Tilde key (`/~) to the Console, Tab is just annoying and F10 is hardly within finger's reach.
                            - Nerf the Manta just a tad bit (drop 50-100 hp ?) - and make it LOUD (like all the vehicles) so we unsuspecting critters can hear our inevitable death before we spawn (again).

                              Well, I tried it in battle, it seems the aiming isn't right somehow. Like other weapons, the ammo goes like 10-20CM to the right of the crosshair? I noticed this with alot of weapons too, try to aim on a small spot with the alt-fire of the flakcannon. Or the shockrifle! Or maybe the enforcer gets less accurate when the range gets higher?

                              Also, I know how to aim, believe me, I played ALOT of instagib in 2k3 and 2k4 and my fph was like 450 with a record of 1280+

                                This isn't a bug, it's a stupid option they set in one of the inis.
                                Give me a minute to find it.
