    Reporting some bugs

    Hello

    I'm a big fan of the UT series and i'm in overall very satisfied with UT3. The game looks gorgeous and feels great. I've just registered here to point out several bugs i've found in UT3 and even though these bugs are not as important as some of the bugs that have already been reported by other members, i do think they should be fixed as they would make the game look much more polished. So, here we go:



    1. Taunts

    This is probably one of the funniest bugs i've ever seen. When you hit one of the taunt keys (such as "K" or "J") while moving, the guy will taunt but his feet...won't move. Here's a little video showing you the bug (it might take some time to load but i know it works):

    2. Arms

    Your character's arms in the first person view aren't matched with those in the the third person view. If possible, they should be matched for the third person view is very much used in Warfare / VCTF game modes and when the arms are not the same, it is a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if this is a bug though. If it wasn't, it'd be nice if the feature was added.

    3. Nightshade

    The Nightshade laser is not aligned with the weapon in certain cases. This bug is not very noticeable, in fact, you can only notice it when you move sidewards while shooting.

    4. Bots in Floodgate

    Bots don't seem to know how to use the Darkwalker in this map. They seem to like colliding against this particular structure.

    5. Bots in CTF / VCTF Maps

    When a bot captures the enemy flag, he never rush to the base immediately. Instead he wastes his time picking up weapons and ammo around thus making it easier for the enemy to stop him and return the flag. Also they don't seem to master the hoverboard very well.

    6. The Announcer

    The "30 seconds left" warning is not very clear, actually it sounds like "3 seconds left".

    7. Water

    Water doesn't splash when you shoot at it in most of the maps.



    Well, that's all i have to say. I'm not sure if i've posted this thread in the right board, if this is not in the right place please let me know. Again, some of these bugs are not critical but fixing them would contribute to making the game better. The arms problem is what bothers me the most and i'm looking forward to seeing it get fixed.

    You got my sign for this post!
    I was on the way myself to report the Arms"glitch" since its different in different views, It bothers me alot. I'm a detailsperson, and i'm also a gamedesigner in the making. As Xero writes the small things if fixed, would make a great difference.

    I'm also wondering if you guys at epic knows about the pantsbug, ive seen it reported in some other posts, but ive never seen anyone confirming that you guys are looking into it. Here's some proof:



    Now this bug is only showing up, what I know, on the pants that the Ronin girls are using. I hope that the picture aint to heavy to load for you all to see what i mean. See you around all!
