The CPU at default clock will be a bottleneck, you can expect the framerate to drop below 60 in certain areas no matter how low res you use.

I have 2GB DDR2 800MHz RAM, an E6750, and an EVGA 8800GT on an XFX 680i SLI motherboard, and this game runs tremendously. Max everything and just keeps chugging with very high framerates at 1680x1050.

    I think you'll be fine.

    E6600 @ 3.33ghz
    4*1gb DDR2-713
    8800GT 720/955
    Vista64
    1600*1200

I get 45fps average with everything maxed, 4*aa, 16*af, highest quality settings on drivers, except for transparency aa which is set for multisampling

You'll probably get like 20 fps.

1024x768 is a crappy low resolution. I imagine your framerate will be super high but that res will make playing un-fun.

My AMD x2 +6000 (3.01ghz), 8800GTS 320mb, and 2gb/800 ram runs this game with max everything at 1680x1050 averaging 60fps.

Your new computer looks better than mine so expect better results.

Mind checking the demo FPS for me?

My rig is almost the same. I get 45-60 FPS, 35 when maxed.

That GT card will do wonders for you. You might be able to push resolution higher and quality. I'm running 1600x1200 on an AMD X2 4400+ at a higher setting.
