Best sounding phones I've had by a long shot. I'm sure I won't convince any audiophiles but I'll stick with these, at least for gaming.

Anyone buying a headset for gaming should seriously consider these imho.

    Now I'll stfu.
They all have horrible response ranges, 20-20k Hz, aka same sound quality as $3 headphones from bins.

Onyx: I got that one, works perfectly and it's cord has small clip things to attach it to the cord of the headphones.

So a lot of people still seem to recommend headPHONES for the most part. I would be interested in buying higher end Sennheiser headphones if I could get a good seperate microphone. Does anyone use the Zalman Microphone Attachment which can clip onto your headphone cord? Does it work well?

    It works great.
If you have never played with headphones you missing out. It enables you to hear things that you might have missed otherwise. You can pick out other players positions by hearing where there shots are fired. A must have for a FPS

It does if you got 5 ears. Sneak into your town morgue and hack off a few extra's...

I use Grado SR60's and they are superb at a good price.

I was curious about the sennhieser headsets suggested by others but they don't provide specs. Anyone know a site that publishes the specs for the gaming headsets. I want to compare features of mine with their models in the event that I need to replace what I have.
