My zalman 5.1 was pretty good, but its nothing compared to Sennheisers headphones.

No point in moving from sennheisers, just get some HD212s/EH350s and pwn.

I just ordered the Sennheiser HD 555 for 99.92 at amazon.com

Read a lot of good things about this headset and everywhere else its at 150 dollars and up so I figured this was a good deal

Logitech Premium Stereo Headset? I have one of these and it seems alright and cheap price. But I think they are discontinued because Logitech's page just has these for gaming headsets:

                http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ga...sets/&cl=us,en

The Digital Precision PC Gaming Headset looks similar to mine (probably the replacement model) and costs SRP $49.99

Got 151, quite good. It hurt my ears though, but after placing it over my subwoofer for a while, all was fixed.

you mean that they fit tight? that might be a problem since i have a big head. lol

I have been using a Plantronics GAMECOM PRO 1. It connects via usb and has the sound card built into the headphones cable. I bought this because I have always used headphones, didn't want to buy a sound card and didn't want to use the sound built into the mb because it hampers performance. I have been using these a few years now and have recommended them to friends, who also prefer them.

I have been using Plantronics for a few years now. I can't believe the quality of sound and bass that comes from those little headsets, and I'm used to listening on quality dj/studio headphones and these are great. I don't have the wireless/usb version, just the basic $19.99 pair that I bought at frys electronics..cheap, effective and work great..

by the way, it looks just like the $79 dollar one, just wired..

                            It's not a headset without a mic

yes of course but a few people were referring me to the sennheiser hd-555 and such headphones.

great headphones but simply not headsets.
