online friends notification

im unsure if this has been asked and ive been scanning the forums alot and not seen anything. my question to epic is this:

will there be some sort of notification for when friends come online included in any of the patches??

As long as it's not such a massive pop-up as the current message notification (it really distracts me -_-)... would be nice. Maybe a little "beep", "pling" or whatever and a little message at the bottom of the screen. Why not.

or just chat message like "FRIEND is online now!"
maybe even "FRIEND joined xxx server now!" later. And you can turn off it in options. will be cool!
