Hoverboard animations choppy?

I think i have the same problem, when I'm on the hoverboard sometimes it looks like my character is jerking back and forth really fast. I also noticed lately that on Avalanche the snow moves up and down where it meets with other ground.

Out of curiosity...does anyone else out there find the hoverboard animations to be awfully choppy?

They look like marionettes being dragged across rocks or something...way too animated...
